报告人简介

  Bekha Ratna Dangol is a PhD research scholar in Applied and Computational Mathematics with focus in geophysical mass flow in Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu. He is an active member of The Laboratory Nepnova – Innovation Flows in Kathmandu Institute of Complex Flows, the pioneering and lead research and application institute of this kind in the Republic of Nepal. Currently, he is working on the Non-hydrostatic dispersive model for the landslides and their laboratory and numerical experiments.
  Mr. Dongol will first introduce the concept of impact force coefficient. He will then present physical model experiments that validate the newly proposed model and demonstrates its practical applications in engineering, such as estimating flow velocity and the mobilization length when a flow impacts a movable obstacle, followed by granular dispersion and hypermobility.  The focus will be on the extraordinarily novel findings on the laboratory experiments of complex granular mixture.
